The Big Blue Alligator Campaign is a grassroots effort dedicated to encouraging a passion for the Blues, American folkart, and good old-fashioned Southern storytelling!! These art forms helped to define our American experience, but more and more they are being replaced and marginalized by commercialized, mass-produced, vanilla-tasting music, literature and art. We want to CHANGE that. We want to re-engage the creative energies of people all across this country in bringing original and uniquely American works of art to the attention of the world! Our Big Blue Alligator is a symbol of all we hope to accomplish.
